Dr. Metwalli brings decades of leadership experience in international operations, business development, strategic planning, and mergers and acquisitions to Seven Point Equity Partners and to its aerospace and defense portfolio company, Frazier Aviation, as a member of its Board of Directors.
Dr. Metwalli has wide-ranging executive leadership experience with some of the world’s leading aerospace and defense companies, including Lockheed Martin, Dynatech International, First Aviation Services, and Kellstrom Defense.
In his most recent role, he served as Vice Chairman and President of Dynatech International, a global defense aftermarket supply chain management company, where he played an instrumental role in the company’s transformative growth by forging strategic partnerships, spearheading new business development initiatives, and driving accretive mergers and acquisitions.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Metwalli served as Chief Operating Officer of First Aviation Services and oversaw business development and OEM distribution functions at Kellstrom Defense.
Dr. Metwalli began his career in the Aerospace and Defense industry with Lockheed Martin in 1973 and held various business development and operational roles during his thirty-year tenure with the company. At the time of his departure, he was responsible for managing all international Lockheed Martin Aircraft and Logistics Centers (LMALC) in Argentina, China, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Egypt, and Australia.
Dr. Metwalli earned his Ph.D. from the State University of New York at Albany, a Master’s degree in Executive Management from the Claremont Graduate University, and a DES graduate diploma from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
